Werner Capital was formed in 2008 when Tomas, Marga and Daniel decided to come together and put their different backgrounds to work on diverse investments projects.
We started developing high quality real estate in the countryside surrounding London and have developed or built residential property for more than USD300 million. We are proud to have been awarded the ‘Best Luxury Home’ by The What House? Awards in 2017.
In parallel in 2009, we invested and became the largest shareholder in Kagazy Recycling (KR) Today the company is the largest producer of paper packaging in Central Asia. Its entire production is made out of recycled waste paper collected by one of our companies, Kazakhstan Waste Recycling (KWR). KWR was established in 2014 and is now the largest collector of waste paper in Kazakhstan. The waste paper we collect is recycled by KR into paper and cardboard.
In 2017 we decided to expand into plastic recycling and set-up Qazaq Recycling (QR) with the objective of reducing plastic waste in Central Asia. We are already the leading Polyethylene (PE) recycling and collector in Kazakhstan. We produce stretch-film with our own granular and plan to introduce a host of new products made out of recycled plastic.
In our latest venture, a construction technology start-up - we seek to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the UK built environment. Through our online marketplace dibus - digital building at scale - we connect the AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) industry with landowners to build a better Britain. Werner is also a proud parter of an R&D innovation consortium called One Source of Truth led by BAM Nuttall.
